About The Position

Seeking a junior Software Engineer to develop graphical user interfaces and dashboards, deploy and manage applications in an AWS cloud environment, integrate new functionality with established tools through tech transfer initiatives, automate key workflows, and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models into workflows. The ideal candidate will be a versatile problem-solver with a strong foundation in software development principles and a passion for building innovative solutions.

Requirements

Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four (4) years of SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
Languages: Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Basic understanding of UI/UX principles
Experience with at least one JavaScript framework (React, Angular, or Vue.js)
Foundational understanding of AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
Basic understanding of scripting for automation (Python preferred)
Awareness of AI/ML concepts
Tools: Git (version control)
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills
Willingness to learn automation and AI/ML principles

Nice To Haves

Experience with Tkinter or similar Python GUI libraries is a plus

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user-friendly GUIs and interactive dashboards
Design, deploy, and manage applications and infrastructure in AWS
