About The Position
Turing is looking for candidates with strong experience in software development, programming, and system design. In this role, you will contribute to projects that help evaluate and enhance AI systems using your software engineering expertise and analytical problem-solving skills. No prior AI experience is required. These projects will help you explore how AI can be leveraged to improve software reasoning, coding accuracy, and development efficiency.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Developer, Engineer, or Programmer.
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or Go.
- Excellent English communication and ability to document and explain code logic clearly.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, and agile development methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve real-world software engineering and algorithmic problems to test AI reasoning.
- Write clear, step-by-step coding solutions across data structures, APIs, debugging, and optimization techniques.
- Evaluate AI responses for accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to software design principles.
- Collaborate with researchers to refine AI understanding of code generation, problem-solving, and real-world development workflows.
