About The Position
Kreative Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain software for clients’ systems. The engineer will turn requirements into working, tested code as part of an Agile team. The ideal candidate is a capable problem-solver who writes clean code, enjoys learning, can own features, and collaborates closely with teammates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with Java, C#, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Continually use common office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, and printers.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
- Experience supporting federal government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test software features and fixes.
- Build and maintain APIs, services, and database interactions.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot defects and support production issues.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Document code and technical changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
