Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
5+ years of professional software development experience using one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, or Python.
Experience developing cloud-native or distributed applications using Kubernetes and container technologies.
Experience developing RESTful APIs, microservices, and working with Linux-based development environments.
Experience using Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software development practices.

Nice To Haves

Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with Kubernetes operators, controllers, networking, storage, or service mesh technologies.
Full-stack development experience using Angular, React, or similar web frameworks.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a passion for building high-quality software using AI-assisted engineering practices.

Responsibilities

Build highly scalable cloud-native services that power Cisco Catalyst Center and help customers automate and simplify enterprise network operations.
Design, develop, test, and maintain distributed applications using modern technologies including Kubernetes, Java, Go, and Python to deliver reliable and secure software.
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and security teams to transform customer needs into innovative features while improving platform performance, scalability, and resiliency.
Contribute to AI-assisted engineering and automation practices that improve development velocity and software quality.
Delivering high-quality software, continuously improving engineering practices, and helping build a platform that manages some of the world's largest enterprise networks.
