About The Position

The Software Engineer will design/maintain database queries and procedures for financial market data solutions. They will analyze, design, implement or support information technology solutions by creating new and/or modifying existing software applications that provide a business function for the organization or its customers. Initiatives may range from small enhancements through the largest, most complex development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field, plus 2 years of related experience.
• 1 year of experience as a SQL developer or similar role.
• 1 year of python development experience.
• Excellent understanding of SQL programming.
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Developing high quality database solutions.
• Developing, implementing and optimizing stored procedures and functions.
• Developing new and scalable solution for new business requirements.
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
