About The Position

The Core Telemetry Platform team builds platforms and tools that support the complete lifecycle of data, from creation to analytics and insight discovery. The Analytics Platform team develops client-facing analytics tools and technologies, including comprehensive dashboards, automated pipelines for monitoring hundreds of metrics, and AI-based analytics solutions. The engineer will solve engineering problems across a broad range of Apple products, understand the challenges of large-scale analytics, and design and build systems to address them. The role also supports research and development to advance the analytics platform, as well as the execution, testing, and rollout of solutions. A solid software engineering background and the ability to write production-level code are required.

Requirements

B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Two years of programming experience in Python, Java, Swift, or C++.
Experience designing and developing production-level software.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Excellent programming, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to write production-level code.

Nice To Haves

M.S. in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
Strong analytical thinking.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Experience driving cross-functional projects with diverse sets of stakeholders.
Proficiency with distributed compute and storage technologies such as Spark, Flink, and HDFS.
