About The Position

We are seeking innovative and experienced engineers to help deploy technical solutions that solve customers’ complex challenges. Missions may present distinct challenges involving regulatory environments, data, and user populations. Engineers accommodate these conditions and deliver technical outcomes for customers.

As a Software Engineer, you will help develop comprehensive solutions, from high-level system design and configuration through application development and data integration. You will work with partner products and solutions, open-source technologies, and innovations built with your team. The role involves working with customers around the globe and gaining insight into important industries and institutions.

The team uses Java for back-end applications and data integration tools; TypeScript and React/Redux for web technologies; Python for data processing and analysis; commercial cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure; and CentOS/Red Hat Linux for on-premise servers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship, as required by the U.S. Government contract.
• Security clearance, as required by the U.S. Government contract.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotations.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, and Java, or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of XML, YAML, and JSON configuration files and their roles within a system.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including the ability to edit them.
• Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or Physics.
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools, and understanding of how technical decisions affect users.
• Proficiency with programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
• Comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users.
• Demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
