About The Position

Applied Materials is hiring a new college graduate Software Engineer in Santa Clara, California. The role involves designing, prototyping, developing, and debugging software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices to ensure quality and functionality. The engineer will work with technologies including machine learning and AI to develop solutions for customer problems, document software and test procedures, troubleshoot software issues, and communicate with internal customers to understand project requirements. The position includes travel of 10% and is eligible for relocation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as computer science, information management, software/system engineering, cyber security, or mathematics.
• Familiarity with the basic theories and concepts of software engineering.
• Proficiency in C/C++, .Net, and C#.
