Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting business applications; required experience will vary by role level.
- Strong understanding of software development concepts, object-oriented programming, relational databases, and modern application architecture.
- Experience with web, application, database, integration, and/or cloud technologies used in enterprise software development.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, research solutions, and explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset, ownership mentality, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality work.
- For senior-level candidates: proven experience leading complex technical work, mentoring engineers, influencing design decisions, and delivering scalable solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, application performance, automated testing, CI/CD, and release management.
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, modernizing legacy applications, or integrating applications with internal and external platforms.
- Ability to understand business needs and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Technical certifications or continued professional development in software engineering, cloud platforms, database technologies, or related disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, test, implement, and support applications that help the business run efficiently and serve customers effectively.
- Translate business and technical requirements into practical, reliable software solutions.
- Write clean, secure, maintainable code that supports long-term quality and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Partner with engineers, business stakeholders, quality assurance, infrastructure, security, and other technology teams to deliver strong outcomes.
- Contribute to Agile planning, estimation, sprint execution, and continuous improvement.
- Document technical designs, application changes, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures.
- Stay current with modern development practices, tools, frameworks, and emerging technologies that can improve delivery, reliability, and performance.
