About The Position
Booz Allen is seeking a senior full stack developer to architect and deliver end-to-end solutions in a dynamic, agile environment. The role guides technical decision-making and delivers production-ready systems while elevating development standards across teams. The engineer will drive adoption of modern tools, techniques, and architectural patterns; evaluate system needs; propose improvements; solve complex technical problems; and ensure solutions align with current and future system architecture. The role also includes mentoring developers at all levels and helping clients navigate challenging technical problems. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates must complete the required skills assessment and meet its minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process. The hiring process includes identity verification using biometrics and AI, and candidates are expected to be on camera during interviews and assessments. Use of AI or other tools to assist with interview responses is prohibited unless explicitly permitted.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, and implementing software using agile methods.
- Experience with full stack development across multiple languages, tools, and frameworks.
- Experience applying Agile, extreme programming, software engineering, and product management principles.
- Experience architecting, writing, and reviewing source code for complex applications.
- Experience building integrated back-end and front-end solutions that scale.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems within cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must complete the required skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold to continue in the hiring process.
Nice To Haves
- Experience gathering and translating client requirements and improving workflows through automation and optimization.
- Expertise with multiple languages or frameworks, including Java, Python, C#, C++, .NET, JavaScript, React, NodeJS, PHP, or Drupal.
- Experience implementing automated testing strategies and maintaining test frameworks.
- Secret clearance.
