About The Position

GeoLogics is seeking a Software Engineer for both backend and front end development to work on Space Domain programs based in Littleton. This is an excellent work from home opportunity. We offer competitive W2 hourly rates, select benefits and an opportunity to expand your skills while working on important projects. Due to the nature of programs, US Citizenship is required for consideration. The manager is looking for a combination of skills including familiarity with the Space Domain, ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment, and development experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with the Space Domain
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
  • Development experience with Java, JavaScript, or Python (any one is sufficient, prefer at least 2)
  • Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containers) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, OpenShift)
  • Track history of working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools
  • Hands on experience with application containerization tools (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) and deployment in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or OpenShift
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Hands on experience with at least one of the major frameworks such as React, Angular, C#, .NET, or Vue.js (including state management tools like Redux, NgRx, or Vuex)
  • BS+ 6-10 YRS or MS+4-8 YRS
