About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Oracle EBS or SQL database experience to support testing of systems assigned to the Air Force Human Resources Systems Division. The role applies software engineering and database expertise to enterprise automation, unattended workflow execution, and integration-focused quality verification across the Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS), legacy applications, and related enterprise personnel systems. In coordination with the Test Manager, Senior Software & Database Systems Engineer (SME), and software/configuration management personnel, the engineer will sustain existing automation, expand unattended automation, and integrate automated validation into the CI/CD pipeline and future agentic quality workflows. The position supports the AFLCMC/GB Business and Enterprise Systems Directorate (BES)/GBH Human Resources Systems Division and requires a highly motivated individual. The engineer applies broad theoretical and practical knowledge of Agile-based software engineering. Work includes documentation, source-code and configuration-file review, engineering resolution support, software development and testing, system analysis, and evaluation of software technologies and processes. The role also requires applying information security and cybersecurity policies to application software services. The position is onsite at Randolph AFB, follows an M–F, 8–5 schedule, and involves 10% travel. Relocation assistance is not available. The position is not contingent upon a contract award.
