About The Position

LatchBio is building the benchmarks that test whether frontier AI can actually do computational biology. Pharma, biotech, and solution providers rely on benchmarks.bio to evaluate and improve their AI systems. The company has experienced significant revenue growth and has deep partnerships with industry leaders. They are scaling rapidly across engineering to build benchmarks for omics, therapeutics, and surveillance. Engineers will build the infrastructure for the benchmarking pipeline, including data ingestion, eval design, grading systems, and infrastructure, working with scientists and frontier models to ship fast. This role involves working on problems such as agent infrastructure and systems, model benchmarking at scale, full stack web development, developer and user experience, and process optimization. You will be part of a small team with control over your direction and the problems you tackle. Responsibilities may include scaling and improving a large-scale internal benchmarking platform, planning and delivering features to enhance quality and speed, and supporting evolving customer requirements and complex computational tasks. There may also be opportunities to engage in research for agentic biology.
