About The Position
Booz Allen is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and enhance software for space-domain ground systems and real-time mission capabilities. The position involves modernizing legacy components and designing new mission-focused capabilities to improve performance, resilience, and operational speed. The work supports GEOINT and space operations, including data processing, system communication, and mission execution.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software development experience using languages such as Java, Python, Rust, or Go.
- At least 3 years of experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and orchestration tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience transitioning legacy applications to a modernized microservice-based architecture.
- Experience working within a Cloud Service Provider environment, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions.
- Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of Software Engineering experience, or at least 10 years of Software Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization.
- Experience with C#, C, C++, JavaScript, React, or Node.js.
- Ability to use automated testing tools for testing and maintenance.
- Master's degree.
