About The Position

Sem-Sol, a GRVTY company, is seeking a Software Engineer to help meet demand. The role involves developing and documenting software for controlling systems and/or subsystems, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication. The engineer will collaborate daily with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers, and will prepare and present materials at design reviews.

Requirements

• B.S. in software engineering or a related field from an accredited college.
• Working knowledge of software used in programming embedded microcontrollers, programmable logic controllers, and embedded computers.
• Working knowledge of C# for developing user interfaces.
• Familiarity with developing software development plans.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience working on directed energy and/or pulsed power projects.
• 5+ years of experience working on software control systems.
• Experience in a Research and Development environment.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document software for controlling systems and/or subsystems.
• Implement a software repository and assist with formal software configuration control.
• Prepare presentation materials and present work at design reviews.
• Collaborate daily with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers.
