About The Position

Sem-Sol, a GRVTY company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help meet growing demand. The role involves developing and documenting software that controls directed energy systems and subsystems, and establishing software repository and configuration-control practices. The engineer collaborates daily with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers, and presents work at design reviews and conferences. The position calls for strong teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to develop documentation alongside software.

Requirements

• B.S. in software engineering or a related field from an accredited college.
• At least 5 years of experience working on software control systems.
• Working knowledge of software used to program embedded microcontrollers, programmable logic controllers, and embedded computers.
• Working knowledge of C# for developing user interfaces.
• Previous experience developing software development plans.
• Experience working in a research, development, or prototyping environment.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• M.S. in software engineering or a related field from an accredited college.
• At least 10 years of experience working on directed energy and/or pulsed power projects.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities
