About The Position

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Vehicle Controls team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing software for the control systems of our luxury electric vehicles. You will work on exciting challenges related to vehicle dynamics, powertrain control, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
  • Strong understanding of control systems theory and application.
  • Experience with software development tools (e.g., compilers, debuggers, version control systems).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Experience with model-based design and code generation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR standards.
  • Experience with ADAS algorithm development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement real-time embedded software for vehicle control systems.
  • Develop and maintain software for powertrain control, chassis control, and ADAS features.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems engineers to define software requirements and architecture.
  • Perform software testing, debugging, and validation on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) systems and vehicle prototypes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
  • Ensure software quality, reliability, and adherence to automotive safety standards.
