About The Position
This role involves designing and implementing software systems that span wearable devices, iOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services. The engineer will be responsible for optimizing CPU, memory, latency, and system reliability, as well as debugging complex concurrency issues.
Requirements
- Proficient in Kotlin or Swift
- Proficient in async programming
- Strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions and deadlock preventions
- Mobile - Experience building mobile products in Kotlin/Swift with distributed backends
- Concurrency & Async - Experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems
- System Engineering - Architecture design, performance optimization, system reliability improvements
- Verbal and written comms skills
- 10 years of experience
- 7 years of experience with NTH skills
Nice To Haves
- Wearables - Experience building wearable products (glasses, watches, MR headsets, etc)
- C /Rust: Proficient system programming in either programming language
- AI/ML Engineering - LLM prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows
