About The Position

You will be the Software Engineer Staff responsible for developing advanced integrated mission system simulation solutions that enables warfighters to shape requirements and operational implementation scenarios. As the Software Engineer - Simulation & Integration you will be responsible for integrating, testing, and enhancing simulation software to support the development of airborne mission systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/Technical Field
Software Development Experience using C++
Experience developing software in Windows and Linux
Experience with cmake
Experience working with TCP/UDP, DDS, networking
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as Jira
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
Active secret clearance

Nice To Haves

Experience with visualization tools such as VRSG.
Experience with OMNI View
Experience with mission scenario development tools such as AFSIM
Experience with HOTAS controls.
Experience with aircraft heads-up displays.
Experience with aircraft simulators.
Experience with DIS, CIGI
Experience with real-time software development & integration
Experience with automated testing
Experience with software version control and tools, such as Git
Experience performing software integration in hardware-in-the-loop and/or man-in-the-loop simulation environments

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain real-time distributed simulation software for aircraft and support systems.
Integrate and troubleshoot software in hardware in the loop and man in the loop labs.
Lead a cross functional and cross-business area team to support software development and integration efforts.
Execute verification and validation activities to ensure software performance meets program requirements.
Provide technical guidance for future lab improvements and Digital Transformation initiatives.
