As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's C/IB MIS DIGITAL organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. This role involves providing detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. The Software Engineer Sr will propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs, write code, test, and deploy software. They will also prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software and maintain and debug software. PNC Employees are expected to be Customer Focused, knowledgeable of values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations, and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions. Requirements

Actively hands-on with Java 8+
Experience with Spring Boot with other Spring Frameworks
Experience with MongoDB
Experience with Microservice application developments
Expertise in core Java, asynchronous and reactive programming
Good communication skills
University / college degree (Bachelor's)
3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience

Knowledge in Docker and OpenShift

Responsibilities

Provide detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs.
Write, test, and deploy software.
Prepare technical and procedural documentation required for software.
Maintain and debug software.
Write disciplined, well-typed, efficient, testable and maintainable code.
Contribute to the Solutions Go-to-Market, prioritize development efforts, shape solution direction, and drive new trends.
