About The Position

Full Visibility is seeking a Software Engineer (SME) to work in Huntsville, AL. The Software Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of IT infrastructure. This includes the programmatic integration of third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendations, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks. The candidate will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics. The Software Engineer will participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for all solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will perform technical project milestone reviews, code architecture sessions, resource estimation, and development best practices knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance/with SCI eligibility with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• At least ten (10+) years of Software Engineer experience.
• Experience designing and developing applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Python in cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Databricks.
• Experience identifying technical strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Robust decision-making skills.
• Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Terragrunt, Agile, Maven.
