About The Position

The Simulation & Systems Labs (SSL) is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, simulating, analyzing, deploying, and flight testing leading-edge systems that enable warfighters to dominate globally. As a Software Engineer, Simulation Sr. Stf, you will be responsible for the integration and troubleshooting of SSS software products in hardware-in-the-loop and man-in-the-loop lab environments.

Requirements

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Experience with simulation software development & integration
Software Development Experience using C++
Experience developing software on Linux Operating Systems.
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/Technical Field (STEM)

Nice To Haves

Experience leading software development teams.
Experience with F35 Simulation products to include VSim, JADE, and LIDS
Experience with Real-time simulation software development & integration
Experience developing software on Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems.
Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA)/Object-Oriented Design (OOD) techniques.
Experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools, such as VersionOne and Jira
Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and tools, such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket
Experience with automated testing
An extreme interest in anything airborne, such as fighter aircraft and airplanes.
Strong oral and written communication skills
