About The Position
Performs manufacturing engineering duties in direct support of F-35 Delivery Operations. Advises and guides repair and installation actions for F-35s in various stages of the Delivery Operations process. Leverages factory and flightline data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrated reporting to produce data analytic solutions for continuous improvements across the F-35 production system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related manufacturing/production experience
- Knowledgeable of General Manufacturing Processes with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience Interpreting engineering requirements from product data models, drawings, parts lists and specifications.
- Experience conducting detailed failure analysis to determine root cause and implement the corrective/preventative actions.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of mechanical hands-on abilities to perform or assist in aircraft maintenance and aircraft production along with repairing non-operating tools and equipment.
- Must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Flightline/Aircraft Maintenance Environment
- Experience with the F-35 production environment
- Experience with Catia V5 or other modeling software
- Experience developing supplier Statements of Work
- Knowledge of aerospace component fabrication & assembly
- Effective written and verbal skills
