About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in networking, cybersecurity, wireless technologies, and infrastructure support within a fast-paced MSP or enterprise environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in network administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki
- Firewalls, switching, and wireless technologies
- TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, and switching
- Network security and monitoring tools
- Microsoft Azure networking
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, organizational and documentation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an MSP environment is considered a strong asset.
- Relevant certifications are considered an asset: Cisco Certifications (CCNA, CCNP), CompTIA Network+, Fortinet Certifications, Microsoft Azure Networking Certifications
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies.
- Familiarity with VoIP and cloud networking solutions.
- Experience supporting multi-site and hybrid environments.
- Experience with monitoring and RMM platforms.
- Scripting or network automation knowledge is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and VPN environments.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing, switching, VLANs, and network connectivity issues.
- Support Cisco Meraki environments including firewalls, switches, and wireless deployments.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security across multiple environments.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices including MFA, network segmentation, endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and connectivity issues.
- Participate in network infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and client onboarding activities.
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in after-hours support and on-call rotation as required.
