About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure .NET applications. The Software Engineer IV will collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, write clean and maintainable code, optimize application performance, and mentor junior developers. The position also requires developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices, staying updated with the latest technology trends, and working with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines. The role participates in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and applies software engineering principles to ensure high-quality development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applied computer science, engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in software development or a related occupation.
  • 4 years of experience in software development lifecycle with a focus on .NET technologies (VB.Net, C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, etc.).
  • 4 years of experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • 4 years of experience with SQL Server or other relational databases such as performance tuning and query optimization.
  • 4 years of experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and cloud-native development.
  • 4 years of experience with unit testing and integration testing.
  • 4 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • 4 years of experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • 4 years of experience analyzing complex technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure .NET applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement robust solutions.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices and architecture.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and performance improvements.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
  • Stay up to date with the latest .NET, cloud, and software development trends and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Apply software engineering principles and best practices to ensure high-quality software development.
