About The Position

Worldpay, LLC seeks Software Engineer Senior - Salesforce Technical Lead in Cincinnati, OH to develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Working with Salesforce platform development including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce Flows for implementing scalable business solutions.
  • Operating with Salesforce integration tools and APIs – including REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and External Services for integrating Salesforce with third-party systems.
  • Working with Agile software development methodology including participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, Grooming sessions, retrospectives, and iterative release cycles.
  • Implementing version control and CI/CD tools including Git, GitHub and Bitbucket, and deploying metadata through Gearset, Copado, AutoRabit and SFDX tools.
  • Implementing modern engineering practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), automated testing, and performance monitoring.
  • Leading and mentoring technical teams on Salesforce projects involving Salesforce developers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Master’s degree in the above listed fields and six (6) years of experience in the above-listed skills.

Responsibilities

  • Identify client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and client representatives.
  • Interact with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and software.
  • Train and communicate with clients on systems applications.
  • Understand requirements and break them down into logical technical pieces.
  • Leverage technical architecture, system design, and end user interfaces, as well as will break down complex technical design into smaller technical elements.
  • Assign and review work assigned to offshore technical resources.
  • Analyze, design, build and test applications in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.
  • Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
  • Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
  • Complete documentation for installation and maintenance.
  • Deliver informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups to internal and external audiences.
