About The Position

Requirements

5–10 years of professional software development experience
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces
Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, digital design, and electronic components
Proven ability to build, test, and debug software across the full development lifecycle
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of analog circuit design and mixed-signal systems
Experience using digital oscilloscopes or other bench test and measurement equipment
GUI development using Windows WPF
Proficiency in C++ or C# using Microsoft Visual Studio
Experience with Git-based source control workflows
Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket) in an agile development environment

Responsibilities

Own meaningful pieces of the software stack, from low-level algorithm development to customer-facing features.
Write and ship application software on Windows.
Develop signal-processing and analysis algorithms.
Build self-tests that keep code quality high.
Research user needs and translate them into well-scoped work.
Collaborate closely with product planners, marketing, and QA.
Work in standard agile cycles, including planning, shipping, and iterating.
