Software Engineer, New Grad
About The Position
IXL Learning is seeking New Grad Software Engineers who have a passion for technology and education to help build new, innovative products and add new features to their successful educational products. This role involves building back-end wiring, application logic, and UI, and engaging users. Engineers will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and tuning, owning projects from start to end. Collaboration with fellow engineers and other teams is expected to design products that meet user needs. The position requires the engineer to be in the San Mateo, CA, headquarters office. H1B sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline
- Excellent programming skills
- Strong analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a wide variety of teams
- Passion for improving education through technology
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Unix, Python, Java, SQL, or JavaScript is a plus
Responsibilities
