About The Position

Custral is a new workspace designed to streamline the entire customer lifecycle, from sales to product feedback. Unlike traditional CRMs that stop at the closed deal, Custral integrates marketing, sales, onboarding, success, and product teams into a single platform. This allows teams to customize objects, views, and workflows to match their specific processes, rather than adapting to rigid software. The platform also features AI agents that are deeply integrated into the data model, offering advanced capabilities with choices between OpenAI and Anthropic models. Stella, the AI assistant, operates within the same records as the rest of the product and seeks confirmation before taking action. Custral is currently in its early stages, onboarding teams incrementally.

Requirements

Deep fluency in TypeScript.
Strong experience with React Native, ideally with Expo.
Experience shipping and maintaining apps in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including the review and release processes.
Proven experience handling offline state, sync, and conflict resolution in a production environment.
Comfort with backend development, specifically building Node and Express endpoints against a Postgres database.
Ability to make informed decisions about what belongs on a mobile platform and effectively communicate trade-offs.
Ability to conduct research and drive work forward independently without constant direction.
Ability to ship real functionality without cutting corners, explain tradeoffs, and improve the system.

Responsibilities

Own Custral on the phone, managing the mobile application built with Expo and React Native.
Manage the end-to-end development of the mobile app, including product decisions, React Native implementation, Node and Express backend endpoints, offline and sync behavior, push notifications, and app store releases.
Determine what features and data are appropriate for the mobile platform, considering it's not just a shrunken version of the CRM.
Achieve feature parity with the web app on the mobile platform, one surface at a time.
Implement a full offline mode, including local state management, synchronization, and conflict resolution for scenarios where records are changed on both ends.
Build the necessary Node and Express endpoints for the mobile screens, interacting with a Postgres database.
