As a Mobile Engineer at Box, you will work on top-tier enterprise applications that are transforming traditional workplaces into truly mobile environments. Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience building and launching iOS applications.
  • Proficient in Swift with a solid understanding of iOS development concepts.
  • Take pride in your craft by creating reliable apps that prioritize observability and reusability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry best practices and company coding standards.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with teammates whether they are local or remote.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the App Store submission process and app lifecycle management
  • Experience working with React Native and/or Android applications

Responsibilities

  • Build user interfaces using UIKit and/or SwiftUI, ensuring a smooth and polished user experience.
  • Optimize the iOS Box app for maximum performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to implement intuitive scalable features.
  • Debug technical issues including crashes or performance bottlenecks.
  • Participate in peer code reviews while contributing to technical discussions and design documents.
  • Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call to help respond to and triage any issues that arise.
  • Learn and grow alongside us! Many team members engage in mentoring relationships so we can continuously improve ourselves as well as support each other’s growth.
  • We also enjoy exploring architectural advancements in UX across mobile platforms.
