About The Position
The Software Configuration Management & Release Engineer leads and supports software configuration management, release control, software packaging, version control, and artifact repository management across multiple development and deployment environments. The role ensures that software releases are properly controlled, versioned, packaged, documented, reproducible, and traceable throughout the software development lifecycle. U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph are required.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Fourteen years of experience as a Software Engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of Software Engineer experience in place of the degree.
- Experience with RPM packages, Helm charts, and container images maintained and distributed through repositories and registries such as Sonatype Nexus, Harbor, and ContainerYard.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Basic knowledge of Kubernetes concepts.
