About The Position

AEITS, a GTSC company, is seeking a Software Engineer, Level 2 to implement the MDAT system using Java, Python, and AWS services. The role includes implementing automated tests at functional and system levels, partnering with system engineers to execute the agile process, and prototyping solutions in the AWS cloud. All work is on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. An active Top Secret SCI clearance with the appropriate polygraph is required.

Requirements

• Seven years of experience as a software engineer on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. Four years of additional software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may substitute for the degree.
• Twelve years of demonstrated combined experience in DoD/IC program management, contract management, and/or financial management.
• A bachelor's degree with a business or technical focus. In lieu of a degree, a Project Management Institute PMP certification, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification, or DAWIA Level III certification in any focus area, plus three additional years of directly related experience for a total of fifteen years, may be substituted.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel, including demonstrated use of pivot tables, slicers, and pivot charts.
• Active Top Secret SCI clearance with the appropriate polygraph.

• Familiarity with Plan-It.
• Project Management Institute PMP certification, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certification, or DAWIA Level III certification in any focus area.

Responsibilities
