As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center (SRC), you will be based in one of PNC's IT Hubs: Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Dallas, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Phoenix, Arizona or Denver, Colorado. Experience with a combination of the following technologies is necessary: Java, Spring boot, J2EE, Kubernetes, Microservices, Mongo DB, Dynatrace, Elastic search, API knowledge, Postman, MQ, Kafka. Experience with the following technologies is a plus: ETL knowledge, SAFe methodology, Mainframe, Additional DBs (Oracle, SQL, Kafka, Mongo, etc.), Ansible. Position supports PNC's Site Reliability Engineering Center and involves participating on a team rotation schedule for off hour critical incidents. Responsibilities

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
