As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Asset Management Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Philadelphia, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL. Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking passionate Software Engineers with the following technology skills: - Apache Kafka Administration and Development - Java, Spring Boot, Microservices - Kafka Producers, Consumers, and Kafka Streams - Kafka Connect and Schema Registry - Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift - CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub - Monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or similar tools - Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server) - Agile Development Methodologies PNC is an in-office company that fosters a supportive culture where employees can thrive and achieve balance. Responsibilities

  • Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
  • Facilitates complex problem resolution.
  • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
  • Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
