About The Position

We are currently looking for a Backend Software Engineer Level 3 with the following qualifications and technical experience. This role involves serving as the technical lead for multiple software development teams, translating user requirements into software requirements, and developing software solutions based on system performance standards. The position also includes supporting software component design, performing new software development and enhancements, developing data queries, integrating systems, and administering application security and integrity.

Requirements

• Twenty (20)+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university OR Twenty-four (24)+ years of development experience in lieu of a qualifying degree
• JavaScript and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Java, C++, or VB.NET
• HTML, CSS, PHP, Perl, Python, and Ruby
• Experience developing applications interfacing with REST-based APIs/services in Apache Tomcat/Java or NodeJS environments
• Full SDLC Experience
• TS/SCI with Poly required

Responsibilities

• Serving as the technical lead for multiple software development teams
• Translating user requirements into software requirements
• Developing software solutions based on system performance standards
• Supporting software component design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis
• Performing both new software development and enhancement of existing capabilities
• Developing data queries for existing or proposed databases and repositories
• Integrating new and existing software systems
• Administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures to ensure application security and integrity
