We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer IV to support advanced engineering and scientific initiatives in a dynamic government-focused environment. This role involves leading the design, development, and enhancement of complex systems and tools while providing technical leadership, analysis, and strategic recommendations. Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance is required for this position. Candidates may start with an active Public Trust clearance or higher, provided they are eligible to obtain a TS/SCI.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and 8 years of relevant experience: OR 12 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, specification, and development of systems and tools for new and existing programs
  • Develop enhancements, modifications, and corrections to complex systems and applications
  • Exercise independent judgment and creativity to solve highly complex technical problems
  • Conduct in-depth studies and analyses, including developing methodologies, identifying key parameters, and validating results
  • Maintain broad knowledge of engineering principles, computer programming languages, techniques, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate closely with government customers and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, briefings, papers, and related documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members
  • Lead projects and direct the work of technical staff as needed
