About The Position

This role is crucial for supporting the expanding user base and developing new projects to advance Speechify's mission. The ideal candidate will be strategic, thrive in fast-paced environments, be passionate about product decisions, and have a proven ability to build exceptional user experiences. Speechify is a flat organization where individuals can become leaders through strong technical skills and consistent, rapid delivery. A strong work ethic, excellent communication, and a drive to succeed are essential. The interview process includes several technical interviews and is designed to be completed within one week.

Requirements

Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction
Responsibility for engineering products
Customer obsession: constantly obsessed about providing the best possible experience
Product thinking: make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers
Speed: work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs time
Focus: know how and when to engage or be heads down in a high-growth startup environment
Swift Programming Language
SwiftUI experience
Experience in Multithreading Programming
Working with CI/CD infrastructure
Experience with Fastlane
SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID
Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies

Responsibilities

Lead key engineering and product decisions
Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
Work within a dedicated product team
Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
