About The Position

Speechify is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its growing user base and work on new projects to advance its mission of making reading accessible to everyone. The company, which has no offices and operates in a 100% distributed setting, has over 50 million users and has been recognized by Google and Apple for its innovative text-to-speech products. This role is ideal for someone who is strategic, thrives in fast-paced environments, is passionate about product decisions, and has experience building exceptional user experiences. The interview process is designed to be completed within one week and involves several technical interviews.

Requirements

Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction, with responsibility for engineering the product
Customer obsession: constantly obsessed about providing the best possible experience
Product thinking: make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers
Speed: work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time
Focus: know how and when to engage or be heads down in a busy, remote startup environment
Swift Programming Language
SwiftUI experience
Experience in Multithreading Programming
Working with CI/CD infrastructure
Experience with Fastlane
SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID
Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies

Responsibilities
