About The Position

CORMAC is seeking a motivated rising junior (preferred) pursuing a degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. This internship offers hands-on experience working with modern automation tools, real-world applications, and collaborative development environments. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience, strengthen technical skills, and contribute to meaningful projects during a 10–12 week summer internship.

Requirements

Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field
Proven knowledge of basic coding languages such as Java, C#, and/or JavaScript
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Rising junior (preferred)
Familiarity with software testing or automation concepts (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

Writing and maintaining automated test code using modern programming languages (Java preferred)
Troubleshooting software and automation issues
Analyzing system and user requirements to inform test design
Working closely with developers to improve product functionality
Developing innovative technical solutions
Attending developer and/or scrum meetings
Writing reports regarding the progress of software and automation efforts
Monitoring the performance of internal systems and automated test suites
Participating in code reviews and quality assurance testing activities
Participating in estimation discussions with the product team
Leveraging tools to accelerate test case creation and improve efficiency
Continually improving coding and technical skills
