About The Position

The Software Engineer Intern applies engineering principles in a practical setting, develops expertise in a functional area, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The intern learns through hands-on functional experience and guidance from experienced engineers and mentors.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree aligned with Software Engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of and experience with enterprise and desktop applications, including Microsoft products.
• Experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue-resolution techniques.
• Basic knowledge of software design patterns and architecture.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn and apply new ideas and concepts quickly.
• Ability to organize time and projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, process, and perform projects efficiently with assistance from a supervisor.
• Develop code to achieve defined design goals.
• Write test appliances to fully test production code.
• Apply engineering processes to everyday activities.
• Participate in design and code reviews to learn about applications and development processes.
• Gain exposure to the business planning process and terminology.
• Comply with Solarity’s policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned, if required.
