Build Connections By: Working alongside our Software Engineer team that serves our customers, employees, and partners across North America and Canada. Collaborating with other Gordon Food Service interns and employees in the following areas: Communications Finance Accounting Human Resources IT Marketing & Merchandising Supply Chain Sales Build a Career: In the Software Engineer department by: Appian Development: Building and modifying business applications on the Appian low-code platform, translating user requirements into functional interfaces, process models, expression rules, and data views. AI Integration & Innovation: Exploring and implementing AI capabilities within tools and workflows to enhance application intelligence, automate complex tasks, and drive process optimization. Testing & Quality Assurance: Test your code for accuracy and performance, and contribute to integrated system testing. Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot process failures and support the ongoing enhancement of existing Appian applications. Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in team standups, sprint planning, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives. Requirements

Currently enrolled in a university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technology field
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher

Responsibilities

Building and modifying business applications on the Appian low-code platform, translating user requirements into functional interfaces, process models, expression rules, and data views.
Exploring and implementing AI capabilities within tools and workflows to enhance application intelligence, automate complex tasks, and drive process optimization.
Test your code for accuracy and performance, and contribute to integrated system testing.
Troubleshoot process failures and support the ongoing enhancement of existing Appian applications.
Participate actively in team standups, sprint planning, code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
