Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or foreign equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with at least one year’s experience working at an automotive technology company
  • At least 12 months of experience using C++, Python, ROS, Blaze, Critique, and gRPC/Protocol buffers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain core libraries, frameworks, and developer tools used across the engineering organization.
  • Own and improve developer infrastructure, used for building and testing Android Automotive OS (AAOS).
  • Operate and maintain the Gerrit code review system supporting AAOS and Android platform development, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain automated code analysis, static analysis, and quality-gating tooling for large-scale AAOS codebases.
  • Collaborate with Android, platform, and application engineering teams to improve code quality, build performance, and release workflows.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and well-defined development paths for tooling and infrastructure across teams.
  • Act as the primary technical owner for all developer tooling related to Android Automotive OS.
