You’ll make things happen–fast. ZoomInfo is looking for a Software Engineer to join our Web Data team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines while contributing to front-end experiences that surface data insights. You will work cross-functionally across US and Israel-based teams, requiring strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building and operating data pipelines at scale — terabytes, petabytes, or tens of millions of rows.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals with Java and distributed data processing frameworks.
- Front-end background with Angular or React; TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency is the key signal. Recent front-end experience is not required.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, with a preference for GCP experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to work effectively across distributed, international teams.
- Proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving and cross-functional work.
- A foundational understanding of Angular or React, combined with TypeScript and JavaScript proficiency, is sufficient.
- Backend / Data Pipeline: Java, Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, Apache Spark, Kafka, PubSub, ETL / Data Pipelines, Big Data Streaming, Batch Processing
- Front-End: Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Cloud: GCP (preferred), AWS (acceptable)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and streaming workloads processing terabytes to petabytes of data.
- Build and contribute to front-end components using Angular or React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across the US and Israel to deliver high-quality, reliable software.
- Optimize data processing workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow, Apache Beam, Google Dataflow, and Apache Spark.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional planning sessions.
- Contribute to cloud-based infrastructure on GCP (preferred) or AWS.
