About The Position

As a Software Engineer III, you will lead the design and development of scalable software solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management and user experience. The team focuses on enhancing Seller and supplier experiences by developing and maintaining a scalable Catalog platform using Java backend services. Requirements

  • Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in platform design, API development, and component services.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features through iterative and incremental development.
  • Proficiency in debugging, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into sustainable technical solutions.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective troubleshooting strategies.
  • Knowledge of documentation-based coding standards and security policy application.
  • Aptitude for mentoring small engineering teams and supporting project delivery milestones.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • OR 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs and translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production and business issues through root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
  • Lead small engineering groups by providing guidance, documentation, and mentorship to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Implement automation scripts and telemetry features to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance activities, and evaluate change requests for feasibility.
  • Support business users by addressing technical inquiries and recommending sustainable solutions.
