Software Engineer III
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer III opening for our client. This is a remote, 6-month contract position. The role involves designing, developing, testing, debugging, and implementing complex applications, with a focus on building and enhancing applications using Spring Boot 3.x and Azure Cloud. The engineer will also implement application security with Spring Security and OAuth2, develop technical specifications and test plans, and collaborate with various teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting application issues, evaluating system integrations and performance, and recommending technology improvements. The engineer will work independently on complex assignments while coordinating development activities and project milestones. Additionally, they will provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced developers.
Requirements
- Associate's degree and 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 8 years of combined education/work experience including 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong Spring Boot 3.x and Azure Cloud experience required.
- Experience with Spring Security, OAuth2, JUnit, and GitLab Duo.
- Strong application development, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience implementing system solutions and working with business teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
