Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Software Engineer, II to join our team! In this role you will get to analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products. This position is part of our Federal Solutions team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of related professional experience
  • Proficiency in object-oriented software design, containerization, and CI/CD deployments
  • Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in the primary duties of the job family
  • Advanced knowledge of general principles and practices of the functional area
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Advanced written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot urgent production issues
  • Proficient in developing software in one or more operating systems environment (Windows, Linux, etc)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced time management and organizational skills
  • Must possess a SECRET Clearance (highly preferred TS/SCI or above)

Responsibilities

  • Supports program and project implementation and makes significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.
  • Builds innovative, robust, and efficient software solutions as a contributor to a team
  • Investigates and resolves defects related to the developed software systems.
  • Supports test activities during the release of products to production.
  • Acts as a resource to managers and employees in the organization.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
