About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team! The Software Engineer will develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment, supporting Centralized UIs & Dashboards (CUID). The engineer automates operational tasks with Python and Bash and delivers capabilities through a GitLab CI pipeline alongside an Agile development team.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
• Recent software development experience using Python
• Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with Secret Management tools including HashiCorp Vault
• Familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions including Keycloak
• Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools including Netbox
• Familiar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
