About The Position

The C2BMC Next Program, based in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a X-Lab System Administrator to act as the first line of defense for user level interactions and issues. The position will be primarily supporting users in person. secure phone, email or instant message (IM). This position will be customer-facing, so refined customer service skills, in addition to IT skills, is a must for this position. This position will support MDA flight tests and focus on the integration of the R&D systems into C2BMC and will contribute to other ongoing X-Lab projects as needed. Support users in an enterprise level system. Install and troubleshooting windows and Linux applications.

Requirements

  • Experience with supporting users in an enterprise level system.
  • Experience with installing and troubleshooting windows and Linux applications.
  • Experience with Java.
  • Comfortable with interfacing professionally with users and customers in an IT service type setting.
  • Ability to write and edit technical documentation of processes/procedures in solutions such as Atlassian Confluence.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IA Level II or higher (Security+ CE, Security. CCNA Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
  • Candidate will be responsible for maintaining DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
  • Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
