Software Engineer II
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client. This role involves designing, developing, testing, debugging, enhancing, and supporting enterprise applications. The engineer will develop full-stack solutions using .NET, C#, REST APIs, Angular, and MS SQL. Responsibilities include performing systems analysis, application development, troubleshooting, and production support. The role also requires developing technical specifications, test plans, documentation, and application designs, and collaborating with various teams on complex projects, including application integrations, interfaces, and system enhancements. The engineer will coordinate development tasks and drive project milestones and deliverables. This position offers the opportunity to independently handle complex application development and systems analysis, support multiple projects, and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and project teams is essential. The role may also involve providing technical direction and coordinating work for less experienced developers.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree plus 5+ years of application development/systems analysis experience, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of .NET/C# development experience.
- Experience with Angular, REST APIs, and MS SQL.
- Strong full-stack development, SQL, API integration, troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on complex projects and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
