About The Position

Lennar is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to join a domain product team that designs and delivers full-stack business applications and ServiceNow solutions. Product teams own their services from design through production and work in a self-service model, using capabilities from central platform teams, including golden-path IDP templates, shared CI/CD pipelines, and reusable infrastructure modules. The engineer will own well-scoped projects end-to-end and use platform tooling to deliver them.

The role involves building full-stack features with TypeScript and React on the front end and Go on the backend; developing ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows; and provisioning services and infrastructure through platform-provided templates and Terraform modules. The engineer will also build and maintain CI/CD workflows, develop agentic and AI product capabilities, review code, and help mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React, with a track record of shipping production front-end code.
• Professional experience with a compiled backend language; Go is strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, relational databases, and distributed systems fundamentals.
• Comfort operating in a DevOps/self-service model, taking responsibility for building and running services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on defined projects.

Nice To Haves

• ServiceNow development experience, including scripting, Flow Designer, and integrations; highly preferred.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or similar; highly preferred.
• Hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or similar; highly preferred.
• Experience with internal developer portals such as Backstage, including templates, service catalogs, and golden paths.
• Experience building agentic or AI workloads, including AI agents, MCP servers, or LLM integrations; AWS Bedrock experience is a significant plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React on the front end and Go on the backend.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, integrations, and workflows that support the product domain.
• Scaffold and provision new services using IDP templates, such as Backstage golden paths, and platform-provided self-service capabilities.
• Build and maintain the team's CI/CD workflows on shared pipeline foundations, such as GitHub Actions.
• Provision and manage product infrastructure using platform-provided Terraform modules and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Design and build agentic and AI product capabilities, including AI agents, MCP servers, and LLM-powered features, ideally using AWS Bedrock.
• Provide constructive code reviews and help mentor junior engineers.
